some things i've noticed recently
i'm a big believer in signs. signs from the universe. signs from my guardians. signs on lampposts that i walk into (kidding). these are just some that i noticed within the last couple of days regarding my mom.
i'm in the doctor's office, during an in-office medical procedure, silently begging to not pass out from the pain. in my mind, i'm asking my mom for help. a wave of calm washes over me once i do this.
getting home from said procedure, the time was not only the day and year of her birth date, but also a number on the pick 3 she used to play.
last night in the emergency department of my local hospital, i was put into room 22. this was the room she was in when she went to the hospital for her incessant nose bleeds some years back.
these aren't all of the signs, but these are the ones that have stuck out the most to me.
